When connecting to our radio stream, your IP address will be sent to our radio service provider in order for us to track listening trends and provide licensing bodies with royalty reports. Once our service provider receives your IP address it is immediately anonymised, deleted and becomes untraceable.

This data is never sold on or passed to other companies.

Our website at hyperion.fm uses Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data such as page views and general geographic region. This data does not identify you personally and is used solely to help us improve the site.

If you submit a song request or shoutout via our Request page, we collect only the name and message you provide. This information is used solely to process your request on air and is not stored beyond that purpose.

The Hyperion Radio Android App does not collect any user data during use. In order to provide audio control during phone call use, the app will monitor the state of the phone app (idle, in call, call ended) if applicable on your device. At no point will the app be able to listen in on or derive phone numbers or any call data.

The Android app also requires access to local storage — this is to store its configuration for faster launch times. No personal data is written to or read from your device storage.

Hyperion Radio offers an SMS text line at +1 (825) 602-5935 for listener requests, shoutouts, and general messages. When you text us, your phone number and message content are stored securely in our database so our team can respond.

Your phone number is never shared with third parties, used for marketing, or sold. Messages are only visible to Hyperion Radio staff and are retained for operational purposes. You may request deletion of your messages at any time by contacting us via Discord.

Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply when texting us. SMS is powered by Twilio.
